At the moment drill through works only with one database.
Filling a cube from different sources with the need of different drill through information is not possible.
It would be nice to use different databases as source for drill through.26 votes
Decimal symbols are currently linked to the user-locale. English setting will give a dot (.) as decimal symbol whereas the Dutch setting, for example, will give a comma (,)
This feature works on the screens/reports, but this does not happen with drillthrough values. So, in the Dutch locale, drillthrough values still have the dot (.) as a decimal symbol instead of comma.
This is confusing.
The best solution is to have the user determine the decimal symbol (and thousands separator) personally for both situations (screens and drillthrough).
But at least drillthough-appearance should be in sync with the screens.25 votes
Version 6 enables generation of multiple XLSX files (compressed into a zip file). This should be extended to PDF generation. Now, when PDF generation is done on reports for multiple variables, this exports only 1 pdf aggregating all the reports. It should give the user the possibility to generate one or multiple pdf files.24 votes
Please provide a function to inform users (based on groups) about certain events / changes etc. in three different ways (non exclusive):
1. small popup at login whereby message creator can set whether info is only displayed once per user or until message is deactivated
2. Email notification based on user-Property
3. maintenancemode Jedox Web for deployment phase that notifies user and temporarily block file- and reportmanager or certain hierarchies from using24 votes
Z.B. rechtsbündig, immer 2 Nachkommastellen, etc.23 votes
When loading data into relational database, the Jedox ETL commit the data every 1000 records by default, and it's not possible to change the commit size to "unlimited".
Therefore, if the data loading was failed at the middle of the execution, the halfway data may remain in the target database after the execution.
To avoid the problem, the Jedox ETL need to have the rollback functionality.23 votes
Currently Supervision Server script is the only option to restrict the range of the values entered to cubes.
Could you consider to add a new feature that enables users to restrict the range of the values entered to cubes without creating their own Supervision Server script.23 votes
It would be good to have more MicroCharts to design Dashboards and Reports.
Especially horizontal bar charts (Variance Charts) would be nice. I use them all the time to indicate positive or negative variances.
In Excel they are made with conditional formatting of cells or via external sparkline plugins. Perhaps even the sparklines plugin from sparklines-excel.blogspot.com/ could be integrated into Jedox Web.22 votes

oad multiple Excel files from a directory with one connection and extract (like CSV Files).
Basicly the same structure like creating a file extract using a folder-connection. But also working with Excel files :)20 votes
With Mac getting so prevalent in the business environment, Jedox Excel Add-in should work in the Mac environment as well as the MS OS. This feature is probably more important than working in Google sheets20 votes
When we setup a security at dimension level, some users are set as N to prevent an access. In report spreadsheet, the element is displayed in a single cell (not using dynarange). But when non eligible user open the report, the particular element that should not accessible is displayed as #Value. This raised a question among users and though as this is an error.20 votes
In many reports I need to consider date intervals. for example beginning is
2012-11 and end is 2015-03
- All Years
So a macro calculates all needed Elements:
- 2011-11, 2011-12, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015-Q1
This is quite circuitous. having an input form that calculates these interval for date dimensions (depends on the definition)
- Weeks or Months
would make work with jedox much easiert!20 votes
Some customers do not like the long external Report URL's we generate in Jedox Web, would be good to have some sort of URL shortening mechanism like incorporating http://yourls.org/ or similar into product. There also seems to be technical limitation for URL length in some 3rd party tools (e.g. Sharepoint). #1200921 votes

Issue : Currently, can't investigate the cause of crash server from crashdump, log file.
In order to investigate the cause, we need the following information
1. Jedox log folder.
2. Crash dump files.
3. requests.txt file (Jedox Suite\olap\data).
4. As much information as possible regarding the actions that were taken on the server before the crash (jobs that were run, reports being opened, etc..).
Reason : It is very difficult that we know to 4. because any people use Jedox at the same time.
Solutions : We want to be able to know the cause of crash server from crashdump,log.20 votes
There are uses cases when data input on consolidated level is required and using # is only an additional step for end-user. PALO.DATA function should have an optional argument that would enable inputs on consolidated levels without using #.20 votes
Several shortcuts are missed when working in the Jedox web spreadsheets. These include (Excel-inspired):
Ctrl+b for bold
Shift+click to select area
Ctrl+shift to select area
Shift+Space to select entire row
Shift+Ctrl to select entire column
Ctrl+Alt+v to Paste Special
Ctrl+1 for cell formatting
Ctrl+Shift+1 for accounting cell format
Ctrl + -/+ to insert/remove row19 votes
