Any other tool allows a google-like search. If customers have no reasonable or detailed hierarchy for their clients, items, supplier (...) and can only use an "All"-Element as top hierarchy node, they need to search through many pages before they can find the customer they want to look at.
A search box would suite them well and allow faster analytics.

This function is still not implemented whereas it's planned for 2 years. Why?

I can not understand why a function that greatly simplifies the operation for an enduser takes such a long time.

Planned for more than a year. When do we get this feature?

The search must also be able to be on a selected alias/ display attribute , not just the element code.

Peer is right - I would suggest to delete this entry as it is not helpful for Jedox and the community if the same request (and the respective votes) is split into different entries.

When you have a long list e.g. Customers in Combobox, we should have be able to search for customer when running in Report Manager

there is the possibility to make a workaround, in which one uses the text filter with perl regular expression. The text filter points to a column in which the user can enter a text. Then the text filter display only the elements in the combo box, which also have the text in the element name. Careful: The text filter is case-sensitive
