Please Jedox do something here - as the current implementation doesn't give reliable results and leads to possible errors.

    Why
If you do changes in parallel hierarchies in different orders, then PALO.EPARENT with the index does not work reliably => e.g. with Index 2 you sometimes get a parent from hierarchy A and sometimes a parent from hierarchy B.

This happens for example when you add new elements and consolidations to existing hierarchies via modeller, integrator, PALO.EADD.
The result differs if you add something first to hierarchy A and second to hierarchy B or vice versa.

    annotation:

    - for PDF this is already possible via folders in report manager (+scheduler)

    - but for Excel you always get separate files -> it would be great to get this merged into one file

    I fully agree

However this request might probably be merged with this one:

    @ Andreas Hafner

    This is definitely not true.
If you open a new sheet and type 20% into a cell,
then Excel internally writes a 0,2 as unformatted value into that cell.

You will see this if you either change the format of this cell from percent to decimal.
Or if you reference this cell from another cell which doesn't use the percentage format.

    see attached picture

Even if this would be possible using IF and STET
it would be a nightmare in maintenance and readibility
.. imagine you would have 20 or more of such key figures
and you need to define the IF/STET for each of the components of such a key figure

..anyway it is not really working bidirectionally with IF/STET

so I fuly agree with Pierre :)

It would be great to define rules, which are C-rule related to the time dimension but at the same time B-rule to all other dimensions in the cube.
(So we target consolidated elements in time dimension and base elements in all other dimensions)

With this we could define advanced semi-additive aggregation behaviour, which is currently not provided by Jedox (e.g. NonEmptyAverage)

Right now we only have some basic semi-additive aggregation in Jedox.

In general it would be really powerful to define rules, which are targeting consolidated elements in some selected dimensions and base elements in all other dimensions.
(not only related to time aggregation)

The current option to define output columns in cube extracts is a good start.

But loking deeper it is very limited, as you cannot remove dimensions, which are used in the dimension filter.

So the definition of output columns is applied before the dimension filter is executed.
    This is the wrong order!
You need many dimensions just for filtering - but not as ouput in the cube.
So please Jedox team switch the execution order:
    1st. apply dimension filter
    2nd. apply output column definition

    thanks a lot!

    one addition:

if you set a default value for the output of the function incas of null,
then of course there should not be any warning anymore in the log

Started in 2014 .. still not available .. great performance guys ;)

addionally to user based settings a standard alias for the whole dimension should be configurable in the modeller
