Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
As developer and user of Jedox
I want to be able to mark KPIs as non-aggregable and differentiate between % and euro inputs
So that i can splash values on high lvl and get reasonable results
Current Status: If we have the following setup:
APP (average purchase price) [input] C: Revenue / Items
Items [input]
Revenue = B: APP * Items
I can easily input on Base level. If i now have a Dimension Category:
Category
Men
Kids
and i have a value on kids as well as on Man for Items and APP and now want to input a value for APP on Category, it's giving nonsense results (This increases when we have multiple dimensions).
The problematic increases when we use % KPIs that must stay in a certain range, e.g. can't go over 100 % on BE lvl.
In other tools, this is a standard future and should be manageable with a svs implementation.
Acceptance criteria:
I can set measures as % or weighted KPI
I can set ranges for % KPIs, such as 0-100
I can splash on CE lvl on these KPIs and get valid results (Enter 25 and get 25)
If i input a value out of range on CE lvl SVS is throwing a message
If my input on CE lvl forces a BE out of range, this one is set to max or min depending on over or underspend
Thank you for your great idea. While we cannot commit to a specific target version, we will consider adding it to our future internal backlog. If you can add further information about the context of this feature, please add it here so we can evaluate it more fully.
