Right now VPN is not recovering automatically if it breaks down, e.g. due to a failure or restart of services on the client's side. It is also not restarted automatically during nightly reboot of Jedox services in connection with backup generation.
So therefore it is necessary to detect a VPN failure via an ETL error and then restart VPN manually in the Cloud Console.
It would already be helpful to reboot VPN once in the night connected to nightly maintenance, so any problems arising the day before would be fixed.
Better would be automatic recovery of the VPN. A client told me this was standard elsewhere and very annoying and disappointing in connection wiht Jedox.
