Right now the quality of PDF-Exports is not really state of the art. It makes it unfit for external purposes (e.g. Report sent to a bank). The main problem is with the thickness of lines varying throughout. This may depend on hidden cells etc. — but whatever, it is not "what you see is what you get", you cannot really control it, and PDF export by exporting to Excel first and exporting to PDF there is still much better.
