Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
we have the case, that we give our sales team access to a planning application, but we won't give them access to the suite. so the became a link and the application opens in a separate window. but when they log out, the log in mask automatically appears. If the log in again they're an the suite. we want a separate log out function which just closes the application without showing the log in and with the possibility to show a text like "you can close this window now".
Thanks for this idea. We think it is a good one. We have started an internal process for the implementation of this feature. Watch this space!
Hello, thanks for your respond. To specify the use case first a descripton we've found in the web where we find our old solution:
A typical scenario: A Web-Designer creates a report, which should be deployed via directlink. This means, that all clients call the report direct, after they entered their username/password. After this, they should logout without the possibility of a relogin into the whole Jedox environment ( standard – login ).
I think that's it. We don't want our region manager to start with the suite or go there after re-login. It's a lot easier to navigate and we can make sure, that they don't mess around inside the suit in other data or reports if we accidentally give them access. It's also easier to explain the user the usage of the report without explaning the navigation in the suite too.
Hope this makes it clearer.
best regards!
