This is a partner request(Alvarezan): We request that Jedox highly consider a dedicated GraphQL connector to the Jedox platform. As discussed on the call, GraphQL is being used by the clients with whom we work, and we would like to use a direct connection to easily pull in data from GraphQL sources into Jedox for reporting. GraphQL is also being used in the industry by large enterprises such as Netflix, PayPal, Airbnb, and Coursera (see: 6 Examples of GraphQL in Production at Large Companies | Nordic APIs | ).
Using an intermediary service is costly and building a hosting service can potentially be a large undertaking requiring much management and planning. Having the GraphQL connection directly built into Jedox would be a great value add for us and it will be scalable for many other Jedox customers.
