There have been some incidents where Jedox functions that were working, where broken when a rolling patch was applied to the Jedox cloud. The users had to spend time (hours)determining the cause before noticing that a patch had been applied.
As with some of the Alpha features (AI, Views, etc) we are giving the Admins the option of enabling these new features to test, we should consider doing the same with patch/ bug fixes that are being deployed.
While not all bug fixes can be partitioned off (Security breaches for example), future development should keep a mind toward the ability to isolate the latest change via option in the Cloud Console.
If you give the admins the ability for a period of time to test and then turn on a new feature or patch, that will go a long way towards resolving issues that make it past our own QA.
