We have several customers that are just annoyed by entering # all the time. Therefore, it would be nice to have the option to set a default splashing value, for example "#".
This is used for each input on CE level except a different splashing parameter is used by the user.
In general, it would be nice to have the following settings:
set a global default splashing parameter that is used for all CE inputs without typing any splashing parameter
additionally, it would be nice to have the option to set this for different slices (it is possible with svs, but only if you type a splashing parameter before)
activate or deactivate splashing parameters. In Most cases "!" Should not be used by the end user. Therefore, it would be nice to deactivate it
This way we ease the input for the end user. Mainly "#" is used anyway (95% of all cases) so why forcing the users to type "#" each time (Especially when the end user does or should not know i he inputs on BE or CE Elements).

Thank you for your great idea. While we cannot commit to a specific target version, we will consider adding it to our future internal backlog.
I think it is not possible to splash without using any splashing parameter. Even if you use the SVS. IF there is a way please let us know.
While waiting for this feature, you can always work around this using the super powerful supervision server ;)
