It would be great of we could put a hold at the consolidation level and then adjust the children based on that amount. One could set one Dept and the othe departments would adjust based on the Total held amount. In the attached example (pic1) I would want to Hold Total Department and change Doohickey for Dept 1 to 19. This would then lower all the other departments by 11, to each showing 9 now(pic2). This functionality that IBM has with TM1 Planning Analytics.
