Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
From LoopParallel Job (jedox.com) and Parallel Job (jedox.com), "Suppose at the beginning of a parallel execution there is already another running parallel execution. In that case, the new one will only have one parallel sub-execution, i.e., no effective parallelism happens inside the execution. Therefore, as the best practice, at any given moment, just run only one execution of a LoopParallel job, or a Parallel job with multiple parallel sub-executions."
The request is to allow parallelism to happen.
Thank you for your great idea. While we cannot commit to a specific target version, we will consider adding it to our future internal backlog. If you can add further information about the context of this feature, please add it here so we can evaluate it more fully.
We will reevaluate the behavior of the LoopParallel Job but making sure that this does not impact existing jobs.
