Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
With a dynarange, you can only filter based on the value used for data filtering. If you have e.g. Projects as a vertical dynarange and turnover and costs as a horizontal dynarange, and want to filter out elements where both are 0, you cannot then sort the dynarange via a parameter or even a single measure. This problem could easily be solved if you could provide the dynarange with a separate cube data value for filtering and sorting. For example, you could filter out elements where turnover and costs https://jedox.aha.io/ideas/ideas/JS-I-190/choose_releaseare 0, and then sort via a parameter attached to a selection of list of elements (say, turnover, cost, profit etc.).
Thanks for the idea. This feature has been evaluated by us and we will not implement at this time.
There is an idea that we consider to implement in the future which would also cover the use case of this idea. When using multiple data filters, the sorting by value will be done by the last data filter that is set. Therefore a second data filter, that includes the elements which should be used for sorting, would lead to the desired result.
