Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
We have received feedback from many clients that this setting makes the budgeting process significantly less user-friendly.
For example, the drill-down setting in the PnL account dynarange is set to 2 to prevent a very long list when opening the input spreadsheet, which is preferred by most clients. However, when clients start their budgeting process and drill down to base PnL accounts, then change settings in the comboboxes, such as the cost center or a checkbox, the dynarange collapses back to level 2. As a result, clients have to click multiple times to navigate back. Setting the drill-down to a higher level is not a good alternative as it makes the report less clear and requires a lot of scrolling.
It would be great to add an option of not automatically rebuilding the dynarange to the default setting.
Thank you for your idea. We've reviewed your feedback regarding the "Not rebuilding and collapsing a dynrange after choosing other options in comboboxes". Our team is currently reviewing this behavior to determine the best way to address it. We've updated the status of your idea to Internal Review, and we will keep you informed through this channel as we make progress on it.
