Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
When creating reports one often wants to filter the lines to be displayed based on none zero items. e.g. lines to show accounts for PnL statement. In the colums there will be often different values to be display: e.g. Actuals previous year, Actuals YTD current year, FC currenc year, Budget current year, budget next year. In dfilter you are able to specify the elements inside the dimensions to filter on in combination with filter condition sum/one element/average and so on. Unfortunately there is no option to set the sort definition different from that.
This means: sort by value descending will either sort the total value of all columns (and maybe aggregation additional colums like Previous year and budget that are not even shown, as they are considered by the DFILTER which considers multiple elements and not their combinations).
Solution: it would be super helpful to choose in sort by value the measure the subset should sort by instead of the sum/one element/averages/... from the dfilter.
Thank you for your great idea. While we cannot commit to a specific target version, we will consider adding it to our future internal backlog.
