Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
The hierarchy tab in the subset editor one can define, whether base, consolidated or both elements should be included in the selection (selections: "base", "consolidated", "none"). This setting can be linked to a range.
However, passing one of the visible and selectable values "base", "consolidated" or "none" doesn't work. The knowledgebase is obviously outdated and doesn't mention anything about this.
The support clarified, that the expected values are 0, 1 or 2 (according to the hfilter function). But this is nowhere documented in the subset editor itself or clear to a user.
Suggestions:
(1) Common sense in good UX/UI design would be to let the user know in the software, what is to be expected to be returned by the range. Furthermore (2) an update of the knowledgebase would be helpful.
Cheers
Hello,
Thank you for sharing this idea with us. We have already updated the Knowledge Base, and we will consider the UI enhancements in our future roadmap. While we cannot commit to a specific target version, we will consider adding it to our future internal backlog.
