duplicate entireETL process

It would Be very helpful if we could duplicate all steps in a flow/ETL process at once rather than having to duplicate each step individually and then re-link them it would save significant time if everything was duplicated and linked and we then just needed to update/amend each stepwhen needing to amend a cube/process/job

Thanks for this idea. We think it is a good one. We have started an internal process for the implementation of this feature. Watch this space!

In the meantime, this could already be achieved by using the "Copy with Dependencies" feature in the context menu.

    Hi,

Just to confirm—are you looking for a solution where copying a process also duplicates all its related components and dependencies, not just the individual step you selected?

ihi thanks for the suggestion but this does not actually solve the issuei'm trying to solve. copy/paste does not duplicate nor rename rename the dependencies it only duplicates/renames the single step that is copied which means you don't actually have a duplicated process, only a duplicated single stepas it does not rename and re-link the dependenciesmeaning you have to still do thatmanually one by one..and that is what is very time consumingsay for example you have an ETLprocess that is going from cubeA to cubeB and we need to add a new dimension to both cubeswe would need to change every step in the process, but we want to duplicate the existing processas we go so that wewill essentially have 2 distinct processesto so we always have the original process as a reference for the new and tomake it easier to revert to the original process if neededif we copy/pasted the loadcubeB step that step will be duplicated/renamed but none of the other steps arerenamednor duplicatedit just tells you components with the same name were detectedwhich suggests itsjust pasting over the top/ie. overwriting and not in fact duplicating anythingwhich is the whole premise of the ideaï postedeverything was duplicated and linked in your 'solution only 1 step is duplicated
