Enable dynamic assignment of different versions (e.g., Actual, Forecast, Budget) per year (or time period) in Canvas Charts. Currently, Canvas only allows selection of a single version or all versions across years, which limits the ability to show the most relevant version per year in a multi-year planning view.
Use Case:
For strategic planning and reporting dashboards, it is common to display:
2024 as Actuals (historic data),
2025 as Forecast (Combination of Actual (January 2025 to Mai 2025 Actual and June 2025 to December 2025 Budget),
2026–2027 as Budget (future plans).
Today, this can’t be implemented in one chart. Adding this flexibility would allow users to build smarter and more accurate visualizations directly in Canvas.
