Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
When I update the palo data formulas in an Excel file with many formulas, it's hard to see, whether the update is finished or not. The green load bubbles in every cell won't help in that case as it could be that in row 1.500 some cells have not been updated yet. Could you please add an information somewhere as soon as the update is finished and keep it there as might not see it if it vanishes within a few seconds.
Thank you for your feedback. We understand the challenge of tracking when updates are completed in large Excel files with many Palo Functions.
As a current workaround, we recommend positioning your screen in the bottom-right corner of the sheet during updates. Excel calculates from top-left to bottom-right, so this area is typically updated last. When the loading indicators in that area disappear, it's a good signal that the sheet has finished updating.
Additionally, consider placing the PALO.LASTSHEETUPDATE function in a visible part of your report. This will help you track the time the data was last refreshed.
We agree this process could be improved and will investigate the possibility of adding a a notification confirming when the update has completed.
