When SMTP was managed in Jedox plateform, secure communication was possible by activating the Start TLS option in the Settings tab of the Administration section. Since SMTP configuration has been moved to the cloud console, this option no longer exists. This is seen as a regression by customers.

Thanks for the idea. This feature already exists in Jedox. The Cloud Console always uses StartTLS for sending emails via Basic Authentication and No Authentication. For the Microsoft Graph Flow, SMTP is not used, however communication happens securely over TLS.
