Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
When multiple colleagues work simultaneously within the same Integrator project, they often need to adjust variables for testing and data previews. Today, default variable values are global for the entire project. This means:
Different users overwrite each other’s temporary testing values.
Creating user‑named variables (e.g., variable_User) is not feasible, as all users work in a shared project structure and want to avoid duplicated or messy variable definitions.
Creating separate user-specific Integrator projects is also not a workable solution, because teams follow a shared naming convention and would need to maintain the same project settings multiple times, causing redundant work and possible inconsistencies.
Introduce user‑specific default variable values in Integrator.
This means:
Each user can define their own default values for variables within a shared Integrator project.
These values apply for data previews and for full test executions done by that specific user.
Defaults remain invisible to others and never overwrite the shared/global defaults.
Global defaults still exist as a baseline, but individual users may override them locally.
