Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
Operations requires critical log data for core SaaS components that is currently unavailable.
Specifically, events and log streams are currently missing for the following areas:
- Jedox Cloud Console (e.g., user actions, configuration changes, privileged access)
- Jedox Cloud SFTP Service (e.g., access attempts, file transfers, errors, authentication events)
- API access logs
Currently, this data cannot be retrieved via either the Jedox Console or the Logs API.
The lack of provision of this log data results in limitations regarding security-related and regulatory processes.
Expanding logging functionality is essential for:
- Security monitoring and detection
- Auditing and compliance requirements
- Integration into SIEM systems such as Splunk
- Traceability of privileged activities
- Comprehensive monitoring of all utilized SaaS services
**An ideal solution would involve:**
Providing additional log data via:
- Expansion of the existing Logs API
- Optional: Export capabilities (e.g., streaming or batch)
- Structured, SIEM-compatible formats (e.g., JSON)
Specifically, the following events should be included:
- User Activity Logs (login, changes, admin actions)
- SFTP Access Logs (upload/download, authentication, errors)
- API Access Logs (request type, response status, authentication)
Thank you for your great idea. While we cannot commit to a specific target version, we will consider adding it to our future internal backlog.
