Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
With the release of Jedox version 2026.1, the removal of the title bar also removed standard window control buttons (minimize, maximize, close). This change significantly reduces usability, especially for controllers and analysts who need to work with multiple reports simultaneously.
A workflow sometimes involves opening several reports and comparing numbers side by side. Without window controls, managing multiple windows or arranging them efficiently becomes inconvenient and, in some cases, almost impossible.
Additionally, the intended benefit of saving screen space is not clearly realized, as the freed space appears to have been redistributed elsewhere in the interface.
Impact:
Reduced productivity when working with multiple reports
Less intuitive window management
Negative impact on comparison workflows
Reintroduce window control buttons (or provide an alternative such as detachable windows or improved multi-window handling) to restore efficient navigation and usability.
Thank you for your idea. We are evaluating changes to the latest release, while we cannot commit to a specific target version, we will consider adding it to our future internal backlog.
