I think it would be a great feature, that can help a lot of users, which are using Scheduler tasks, because then the user directly in the frontend can activate or deactivate a task.
How I imagine the function is that I have a checkbox in the frontend, which then directly can activate or deactivate a scheduler task, just this, the ETL behind the task should not run directly. The task just should be activated, so that the ETL will run in the future.

actually this would be awesome if all possible features of the scheduler could be accessible programmatically, e.g. add new tasks, remove tasks, and so on
