Manage Jedox services from System Manager

In Cloud environment Jedox admin must be able to start / restart or stop Jedox services. But the administration of the server often is another person or even company. Thus there are many loss and delays due to communication. I suggest a management function for Jedox services like OLAP, Core, Tomcat, and HTTPD. Maybe integrated in System Manager.

Thanks for the idea. This feature has been evaluated by us and we will not implement at this time. You can still access these start/restart services from the Cloud Console. Multiple accounts can be set up here (you can request Cloud Support to set up these accounts).

+1. Should be implemented without relying on a running Core, Tomcat. A stopped OLAP would prevent login. Maybe the login page should check if the service is running and if not offer a separate option to start the server. For this operation credentials should be checked somehow. Httpd however will be neeted to access this UI. If this service has crashed it's a deadlock. Maybe a watchdog process on server can be installed to ensure that HTTPD is automatically restarted if this service is not running (and not set to inactive)
