I propose to have standard functionality of Jedox more directly available. As an example we currently can call Integrator jobs through the macros. This is relatively complex, and could be made much more simply available.
Like making standard triggers available in like buttons etc. This is not to say that the macro possibility should be remove, have this as the advanced possibility which can be use in more complex scenarios, while make it available my a more simple interface for the simple scenarios.
Integrator
Scheduler
Mailer component
other?
all without need of macro
Furthermore, it would be nice if more objects (like buttons metadata, list metadata etc.) and events (change selection, field change, sheetchange, refresh of data [before <this could give us the possibility of rejecting the change before save> and after]) was exposed to macros.
--> This would move the possibilities of excel even further into Jedox web.
Hi, thanks for the feedback. This concept is under active consideration .

I would fully support this. A wizard where you can select an integrator job, map variables etc.
