SVS | Event OnReportOpen & OnReportClose

Dear Jedox,


What: Please add 2 events to the Supervision Sever to log information on opening and closing of reports. They events should also be able to read which report is being opened and by who.


Why: Can be handy for further data analysis of report use (especially for the cloud since the core log is not accessible on a cloud instance), such as:

When are reports viewed, Who is viewing the report, How long etc..

    Thanks for the idea. This feature has been evaluated by us and we will not implement at this time. While we may consider usage statistics in the future, we do not plan to extend supervision server to do it. A work around could be using the on load event in the spreadsheet to populate a cube with a flag or other statistics about the report.
