Currently, we are converting all kind of connections to direct Snowflake connections. To realize this for Jedox, a key pair authentication is necessary due to security concerns.
Snowflake starts to be really common in all new cloud based data warehouses. It would be much more easy to have this connector out-of-the-box instead of taking care that driver in installed into cloud after each update or driver update.

I would be happy with just a reading connector. My company is forcing to have Snowflake as the single source for data.
I would also add : a connector with write capability (export Jedox data to Snowflake was a request of my client)
