To improve the On-Boarding of the Excel Add-in, we could add the possibility to create Excel Add-In Connections using Jedox Web.
E.g. in the Info Menu of Jedox Web, there should be a link that when clicked opens the Excel Add-In and creates the connection.
This would be possible by creating a protocol handler like this: "jedoxaddin://". In jedox web we could then add a link to the url "jedoxaddin://create_connection?url=...".
An alternative link to the download page could be set in case the user does not have the add-in installed.
