Allow spanning of frameset to enhance its possibiliies, e.g. 1 column and 2 rows besides:

Thanks for the idea. This feature has been evaluated by us and we will not implement at this time.
Canvas already provides capabilities to cover some uses cases where this is required. Our strategy is to focus on improving those capabilities further.
