Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
In HFM you could when loading data, set a setting they called replace by security.
Basically what it did, was to use security settings to determined how to replace data. This way you could load data, and have the settings determine how to overwrite.
In Jedox, if you choose Insert, we simply replace records that are at the exact point. If you want more, you might need to create a delete load as well.
I propose giving the option to set a "delete" target area to the load, where you can configure an extended area to replace. For example I might define that a load should always replace and entire Version, Company, Month area => Hence, if I load 10 accounts to a company in a specfic month of actuals, then the data I upload is the one I will find in the company afterward.
This option would simplify the integrator jobs in many instances, which will lead to less errors, and easier understanding.
Thanks for the idea. This feature has been evaluated by us, however it doesn't align with our Roadmap therefore we will not implement it at this time.
