Background:
Users often struggle to find and maintain accurate emission factors for different activity types (electricity, fuel, travel, waste, etc.). Manually sourcing factors from various databases leads to inconsistencies, version drift, and extra setup time for each new project.
Proposed Idea:
Embed a preloaded library of common CO₂ emission factors directly into the ESG solution, so users can select from vetted, up-to-date values without leaving the platform.
Dependencies:
Finding open source data which can be used for free.
CO2 emissions: for e.g. Electricity, fuels, travel, materials & waste.
