Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
Current Situation
When creating a dynatable with years and versions, all selected versions and time periods are shown by default. However, in 99% of cases, only specific combinations of version and period are actually relevant for users.
Typical Use Cases
Past Years: Users are usually interested in actual data, e.g., “How much revenue did we generate in previous years?”
Current Year: A forecast is often used, combining actuals for the first few months with budget data for the remaining months.
Example: Forecast 3+9 = Jan–Mar Actual + Apr–Dec Budget.
Future Years: The budget is most relevant here. (for your information: Many customers create separate budget versions for each year or planning period (e.g., Budget 2025, Budget 2026, Budget 2027).)
Please provide a way to easily show only the relevant combinations of version and period in a dynatable. This would significantly improve usability and relevance for end users.
