Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
Hey Jedox Team,
I’m looking for an option to open reports in Fullscreen Mode — meaning that only the report itself is visible, without the menus on the left or at the top.
I discovered that this can be achieved via the report properties by creating a Standalone Link and disabling features like scrolling, etc. The result is exactly what I want. However, I’ve noticed that after modifying the report, the generated link sometimes stops working, and I need to recreate and reshare it.
Why Fullscreen Mode is important:
We have many users in our company who are not BI, IT, or Accounting, etc. experts.
They don’t need access to the report menus, the top navigation bar (Models, Views, etc.), or even the report selector or title line.
For these users, it would be ideal if they could start Jedox and directly land on a Fullscreen page, which guides them through their environment using simple navigation buttons.
Is there any way to achieve this with the current Jedox functionality?
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
Frank
My proposal:
Add a “Fullscreen Mode” toggle to the report settings.
When activated, this option defines the report as a fullscreen report. Whenever users open it, the report automatically launches in fullscreen mode. Even when navigating via buttons or jump actions, the display remains fullscreen - ensuring a clean, immersive viewing experience.
Separately, the report can also be defined as a startup report for a specific group. When a group member logs in, this report will open first - and if it’s marked as fullscreen, it will start directly in fullscreen mode and with using buttons to navigate between reports it will stay in Fullscreen.
Thank you for your great idea. While we cannot commit to a specific target version, we will consider adding it to our future internal backlog. If you can add further information about the context of this feature, please add it here so we can evaluate it more fully.
