It is today possible to allign the text horizontaly (left, center and right) but expecially with merged cells it would be great to have the possibility to allign the text vertically in the top, down and center direction.
This would make the reports look much better and also eliminate the work around of trying to center a text in the vertical direction by increasing the font size, which not always work but gives alot of iriitation when build the reports and finalizing the layout touch.
We just wanted to add this idea and found that there already exists this one. Unfortunately we saw that it was insterted 5 Years ago! However, we would also point out that this is an important feature for us to have nice aligned reports. At the moment we use complicated cells/merged cells to have texts properly centered vertically and this is quiet annoying.
Please take it once more into consideration, since it is a standard function in other similar programs and horizontally it is already possible. If there's an obstacle that is not obvious to us as a user, I'd also be happy to know the reason, why this is not implemented yet.
Thank you!
This would really be important. Especially because Jedox seems to have default vertical alignment "center", but Excel has "bottom". So perfect reports online look bad in Excel and you have to apply vertical aligment manually. This is particulary bad for batch reporting, which is still very useful. And there you produce a lot of files, so manual editing is no option.
Wäre es nach 3 Jahren nicht mal an der Zeit, solche einfachen und in anderen Programmen selbstverständlichen Formatierungseinstellungen zu implementieren?
