Datepicker combined with input field

Beside selecting a date from the datepicker, the input field should also be filled manually without selecting from the datepicker. So the user can choose if he wants to select the date from the datepicker or if he wants to enter the date manually. See also the printscreen attached to this idea: - No 1 = Select from the datepicker - No 2 = Enter the date into the input field manually

    Thanks for the idea. This feature has been evaluated by us and we will not implement at this time.

    This is allready possible if you choose variable as Target for the date picker and insert into any cell =@variable.

    I should also be possible to select beside day values year, quarter, month and week values (=consolidated elements of a time hierarchy). Therewith this component could be a real alternative to comboboxes for this type of selection.
