Currently we have a very complex model that is depending a lot on the SVS server.
But we noticed that with the amount of interaction between the spreadsheet and SVS server sometimes the SVS server "freezes".
In order to solve this we must restart the complete OLAP service.
It should be nice that the SVS gets it seperate service that can be restarted without the impact of the core / olap / httpd services.
Thanks for the idea. This feature has been evaluated by us and we will not implement it at this time.
