Use Standard Alias for Dimensions in Pase View

On a per user and per dimension basis information about the last selected alias should be stored and retrieved, when opening a new view. That would help users to work faster with their data.

Do not allow private views in Canvas

A Canvas is meant to be a public report. If you accidentally choose a private view, you will not realize your Canvas will not work for others in your own testing. This avoids a whole bunch of failed reporting issues.
