Could you add your main use case to better understand the idea? E.g. using this as a starting point for a similar View in another cube, or for deploying new Views to other environments etc.
My main use case is to create the same view in another environment, e.g. a different development or test version of the cube. That means that in some cases the destination cube could have some dimension more, or less, or with a different name.
Another use case is to have a back-up of the view without backing up the whole database.
Another use case is to share the view (send it to a colleague) with someone who has the same cube, e.g. because he has installed the same Jedox model.
