Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
Currently, cloud console users can create security rules that restrict inbound traffic, allowing connections only for the specified IP addresses or IP ranges (IP whitelisting). See also: https://knowledgebase.jedox.com/jedox/maintenance/cloud-console-access-list.htm
This capability currently exists for Jedox Web and/or SFTP. It should be extended such that users can also restrict access to OLAP (and Server Browser) in the same way.
This will allow us to reduce the attack surface of OLAP, e.g. making it only accessible from within the company network. This will prevent others from reaching the OLAP (or Server Browser) endpoint altogether via the public internet.
Thanks for the idea. This feature already exists in Jedox.
By creating HTTP(S) rules as access restrictions, both OLAP and the OLAP browser are restricted, too.
If there is a need to create rules for only OLAP(-browser) without blocking Jedox Web, feel free to create another idea.
