I created some complex subsets in Jedox Web that I sometimes use in Excel I also create subsets for other users as well. I especially like them because it gives you the ability to quickly combine multiple filters and achieve complex selections.
You can now access your stored Subsets when defining your dimension selection, thus reducing the time and effort required to use predefined element selections when working with the Excel Add-in

It's not only valid for complex subsets, but also for simple repetitive ones. It makes things much easier and more consistent accross the different medias.
Mostly it helps a lot with using subsets with many elements or such, which are based on attribute filters etc.
I think consistent subset usage across all user interfaces is key to be able to automate and harmonize work.
