Let us know how we can make Jedox even better!
As we were running our yearly planning this year, we had the problem that in the early afternoon the memory limit of the SSS was reached and the service crashes / restartet.
After a lot of mails with the support team, I got the answer that it is normal that the memory usage of the SSS will increase over the time even if a lot of users have logged out from the system. The only way to release a lot of the memory is to restart the service. To avoid that our memory limit for the sss was increased. By the way, it would be helpful to show the limits in the cloud console.
My suggestion is to implement some kind of garbage collection. So that memory unnecessarily blocked memory will be released automaticly. I was really suprised that there isn't such a mechanic today. It's hard to believe, but this is what I was told.
Thank you for your great idea. While we cannot commit to a specific target version, we will consider adding it to our future internal backlog.
