Hi, I couldn't find any article on how to remove the Office 365 addin once it is installed. It always loads with Excel. There is a KB on uninstalling the old addin but there is nothing for the new addin. I am an Independent consultant and have my own office 365 account, I have downloaded it with my own microsoft account but when I try to create a connection to my client's jedox cloud it throws an error "Unknown error while communicating with server". Is that something to do with the difference in the microsoft domain? After closing when I try to create new connection it tries to create a new connection with increment1 at the end. Where are the connections stored?
The issue you are experiencing "Unknown error while communicating with the server" is most likely related to a missing configuration in your client's Jedox cloud instance. Please create a support ticket to resolve this quickly so you can try out the new 365 Add-In.
To remove the Add-In:
Navigate to Excel Home > Add-ins > My Add-ins.
Locate the Add-In and click Remove.
Refresh the page to ensure it has been fully removed.
Regarding the increment in the connection name, this happens because connections cannot share the same name. Each new connection is automatically assigned a unique name with an increment.
