Aggregate lists of elements for each dimension in PALO.DATA functions instead of single.
A PALO.DATA function refers to single base or consolidated elements for aggregation. It would be fine to be able to define subsets of elements to get a sum of these,
this would be really helpful. Currently you have to use a palo.datav and sum up the result (delegating the sum to the client, whereas the sum could be done by the olap server)
I don't think that the answer of the Jedox Admin fit's to the request.
I think the intention of the requester and the voters was the following:
It should be possible to get an aggregated total of a subset out of a single PALO.DATA formula,
like this:
PALO.DATA ("myDB","ProductCube",PALO.SUBSET(), ...)
instead of only
PALO.DATA ("myDB","ProductCube","ProductGroupA", ...)
To my knowledge to refer to a subset inside of a PALO.DATA formula is still not possible in Jedox6. Therefore I think this request is not completed at all. (Correct me if I am wrong)
