yes, i checked this one, but the customer wanted a seamless integration where the user can hold multiple measures on a flexible level to then be able to work within the template on some of them.
it's possible to integrate this but it could be better integrated e.g. in paste views.
It allows you to change some value, keep the value of parent elements as they are, and re-allocate the necessary difference across a defined set of other elements. It can also take existing value distribution into account. Please let us know if this helps.
The desired functionality should be as follows.
Say we have three Departments A, B and C
Place a Hold on Total departments. Say at 100K
Then go to department A and set it to 50K
Both Deparments B and C would then go to 25K each and Total departments stay at 100K
Total Depts 100k (Held)
Dept A 50 K (type 50K)
Dept B 25K (goes to 25k)
Dept C 25K (goes to 25k)
Next you put a second Hold on Department A and adjust Dept B to be 30K. Dept C would then become 20K.
Total Depts 100K (Held)
Dept A 50 K (Held)
Dept B 30 K (Type 30K)
Dept C 20 K (goes to 20k)
This is a must more useful Hold functionality than the current Jedox method and is other products do have this capability.

Hi,
have you already looked into the "reallocate" functionality? It is described here: https://knowledgebase.jedox.com/knowledgebase/planning-assistant-transfer-reallocate/
It allows you to change some value, keep the value of parent elements as they are, and re-allocate the necessary difference across a defined set of other elements. It can also take existing value distribution into account. Please let us know if this helps.
