When I apply semi-additives and apply Average, total amount at Year Total get divided by 12 irrespective of Missing or Zero's in Months.
Similarly for last, if value exists only from Jan to May, Amounts of Mar goes to Qtr1 and May to Qtr2 However at Yeartotal, system returns 0.
Have to add few Rules using PALO.DATA.AVG or PALO.DATA.CNT to achieve it.
In Oracle Hyperion, there used to have options associated with TimeBalance which allow to choose the treatment of Zero's or Blanks at Month level.
This could be made configurable at the element levels by extending Semi additive selection with SkipMissing, SkipZero, Skipboth or SkipNone
